Computing this out, Dell vs bond.for 10 years .......................... 0 year 5 yr 10 yr Mkt Cap Dell 30% growth $100 $371 $1337 $780 bil (12.3 bagger, probably not happen, but still Csco was $500 bil) Dell 20% growth $100 $248 $691 $415 bil feasible, less than Csco was, and ten years to reach it Bond 4% growth. $100 $121 $148 ( better to put up a lemonade stand) Actually Dells goal is to reach $100 bil sales in about 4 years which could produce the figures for 20% growth and somewhat better.
