He didn't disparage Bush. He said it was clever of Bush to make that statement, even though it's not true. "Bush can claim Islam ain't violent until he croaks. I know differently. I can accept Bush's comments only because I know there is no way Bush would be able to maintain Arab support for attacking Iraq or Osama if he told the truth. May as well let the guy lie if his lies will be used as a weapon that will allow him to continually stick it to the Islamic criminals."
