Well... that could be true.

In intelligence circles, it is well know that 6 or 7 Soviet (possibly briefcase) type bombs have been missing & r still unaccounted for.

My research, indicates, that initially, they were supposed to take out the Top levels of the American goverment when the Commies still ran what was once the USSR.

When the USSR fell, those nefarious weapons fell into even more dangerous hands <ng> And are not accounted for...

<The means? "Atomic bombs." Al-Usuquf's most startling revelation is that the bombs "won't be launched, they are already there". "Seven nuclear heads have already been positioned on American soil, before September 11, and they are ready to be detonated>

Yet, there is clearly worry that the danger is growing because of increased "chatter" picked up through intelligence channels, the continuing U.S. showdown with Iraq and the recently revealed taped warnings believed to be from al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden (news - web sites).

I would guess it might be possible but we'll only know the truth in the light of history.

Nuclear threat from Asia Times was hoax

For a brief time Thursday evening, WorldNetDaily posted a story from the Asia Times recounting an interview on Al-Jazeera television with an al-Qaida leader threatening the U.S. with nuclear terrorism.

Shortly thereafter, WorldNetDaily discovered Asia Times had been hoaxed and the story was removed.

It was also subsequently removed from the Asia Times site.
