I believe it was two years ago at the shareholders when Michael made a series of comments addressing the importance of Linux to the business world...Can't remember directly but it pertained to a growing interest that would become a popular use...
He has mentioned numerous times in his speeches this subject...I have no particular knowledge of it's benefits I just continue cheating off of his words and following his guidance...

I think (if I remember correctly) Dell was talking about an uptick in the number of machines (servers) being ordered with the Linux OS. Indicated this means nothing to predict IT future spending and is actually a cost saving mechanism for businesses since they would be using Linux instead of MS and Unix. Still only a relatively small %.
