why are you supposed to tip at Starbucks but not at McDonalds? is a Latte harder to make than a Cheeseburger?

Since when do you give tips at Starbucks?

Some of these stores have a little pot for tips but there is no obligation considered. Other stores have a policy against it.

The idea of tips is just like stock options for executives.

Why don't waiters or anyone get serious tips in Australia

because the founding fathers were all criminals?

Australians tend to regard tips as a bit insulting. Waiters are paid properly there. One advantage of this is that they don't keep bothering you during your meal which I find many American waiters do.
