:<< Hope you are not going to the old too much diversification path. >>
Holdings today are about like this:
Dell 33% ( I use their stuff- it works)
Geacf 22%( My son works there-18 yrs)
Ally 20% ( Mort T. bgt into this long ago)
Tsco 12% ( I shop there- clothes and mach)
Pdg 7% ( gold mine for safety net)
Others 8% total (intc, Igt, qcom, taro, pxlw)
In ten years or maybe 5, I wont even remember my dogs name Younger people should plan different-look further out. With enough side income, might even borrow on house to put in Dell. I would still wait just a bit more to do that -hope for more stability in market.
My goal long ago was to own enough telephone stock to pay the phone bill with dividends, enough energy stock to pay the electric bill, enough HD to pay for the house lumber and so on. And then Dell came along and
ruined my plans . Dont have to worry about phone bills, nor drive around looking for cheap gas
Back then I knew why I owned a stock and could tell you. Today if a stock moves, I might jump on it,
and if wife asked me what the company does - I cant tell her .

You think I need more Dell? Some leaps maybe 2007 Leaps would be nice(g)
