INVINCIBLE IGNORANCE THEY JUST NEVER LEARN By: Phil Brennan It's an old theological term describing an inherent inability to accept the truth even when it's staring you right in the face. In casting around for an apt description of what intellectual disorder afflicts members of the National Socialist Democrat party (NSDP) it occurred to me that "invincible ignorance" more than fits the bill. These people, in modern parlance, simply don't get it. They have just been run over and flattened by a steamroller which they cannot even believe exists. As a result they ignore the machine that has just rendered them into two-dimensional objects and run around looking for reasons to explain why they are now flat as pancakes. Their Marxist allies in the mainstream media pretend that the cause of the debacle was some kind of failure to get their "message" across, when the truth is that their message did get across, and that it caused last week's debacle. Marshall McCluhan was right: the message is the medium - and the medium in this case was the NSDP's swinish behavior which finally gave the game away and exposed them for what they are. It would be a mistake to understate the enormous part the Paul Wellstone Memorial Riot and Motorcycle Gang Rally played in the elections, not only in Minnesota, but all across the nation. What the American people saw in that shameful farce was the real face of the National Socialist Democrat Party - the face of a grinning thug dedicated to achieving one and only one goal - winning at all cost - winning even if it meant campaigning atop a dead man's coffin. The NSDP message was the same tired old refrain: heartless Republicans want to drive old people into the gutter, dismantle Social Security, give tax breaks to the wealthy and soak the middle class, force women back to the kitchen and make them have babies they don't want, give goodies to corporate crooks, suck the life out of the average American, prevent minorities from voting and force people to obey all of Jerry Falwell's orders. It just won't wash anymore. On November 5th, the voters showed that they understand that they've been the targets of a bunch of socialist thugs and thugesses who have no other goal in mind than the need to win in order to impose Marxism upon the nation - a socialist regime they and they alone will manage for now and forever. Incredibly, the party of Bill and Hillary Clinton, Terry McAuliffe, Tom Daschle, Dick Gephardt and their coterie of wealthy Hollywood idiots, baby killers in the billion dollar abortion industry, blood-sucking trial lawyers, corrupt big labor bosses, dumb-down-the-kids educrats and all sorts of other miscreants and mountebanks, came out of their November 5th Waterloo defeated and utterly unchanged. They remain fully dedicated to their socialist agenda - the very agenda the voters rejected on November 5th and show every sign of rejecting forever. Doubt that? Take a look at the lady that appear ready to install as their leader in the House, one Nancy Pelosi. Mrs. Pelosi is an unabashed socialist, a prime mover in the so-called Progressive Caucus, which includes much of the NSDP's House leadership. This outfit of about 50 influential House members was the child of the Socialist International, originally a branch of the Democratic Socialists of America that withdrew into the background after the organization was exposed in the Washington Times as having infiltrated into the top layers of the House Democrat party membership. Mrs. Pelosi isn't just a member of this sinister bunch of Marxists, she's one of their guiding lights. She is, in fact, a member of the executive committee of the Progressive Caucus. As Balint Vazsonyi write in the Washington Times, "Her election as minority leader would firmly establish the link between the Democratic Caucus of the U.S. House of Representatives and the Socialist International." As I have been writing for a long time, there is no longer a Democrat Party in the U.S. - it is what I have been calling it - the National Socialist Democrat Party. And with Pelosi at the helm in the House, the Marxist nature of the party is at last out in the open for all to see. The stubborn adherence of the Democrats to their socialist agenda has to be a result of their terminal case of invincible ignorance. They can be expected to: Continue to support abortion, despite the fact that pro-life candidates triumphed over pro-death opponents all across the nation. Continue to support high taxes to pay for their Marxist programs despite the rout of such candidates as Florida's Bill McBride who got hoisted by his open petard of promising extravagantly expensive programs he hadn't the vaguest idea of how he could pay for without hiking taxes skyward. Continue to oppose the appointment to the federal bench of judges who recognize that it is their function to interpret laws, not create them. Continue to attempt to obstruct the President's efforts to reform the tax system and make it possible for business to create jobs and help the economy to grow and prosper. Socialism was the cancer that ate away freedoms all across the globe in the 20th century, giving birth to such monstrosities as Stalin's murderous Soviet Communist party, Hitler's National Socialist German Workers (NSDAP - or Nazi) Party and Mussolini's Fascist party. Yet despite the havoc it has wrought, and the millions of lives it cost, Marx's failed creed remains the Democrat's creed. They just never learn.
