Just got my Hydro bill from Ontario Hydro, its worth printing here for a laugh Electricity used during this billing period We estimated your meter on October 23, 2002..........000953 We estimated your meter on September 23, 2002........000953 Difference in meter reading..........................000000 Cost of Electricity @ 5.027c/KWh.....................$0.00 Hydro One deleivery charges: Cost to deliver the electricity to you...............$23.23 What rocket scientist figured out that it costs $23.23 to deliver nothing? Thats even better than running a Nigerian zillionaire scheme where you get $23,000,000 if you send me the "Taxes due"!!!

Goes to show you that it doesn't matter how they figure it, it still costs the same. You're basically at 9.52c / kwhr I'm at 10.9c if you add them all up. For 407 kwh, you must be living in the dog house :-) Using that much hydro, all you need is 2x6v go-cart batteries and a solar charger from Cdn tire... Ha Ha Ha!!! My last month bill...Ontario energy 3,132 kwhs x .07498 234.84 distribution @ .0103 30.90 customer fixed 13.32 / mo 13.32 SSS Admin (Nazis thing) .50 Wholesale servers .0062 19.42 Debt retirement .0068 20.40 Retail transmission .0107 33.51 GST 25.63 Total 391.84(for 2 months) Eves the elve just anounced a 4.3c rate fix till 2006 so that will cut about $100 bucks of the bill and add about $200 bucks to my taxes :-(
