Yes, good management doesn't micromanage, and I wasn't suggesting that.

But sunshine and micromanaging are two totally different things.

Your boss at IBM has every right to read your emails sent from the office. Every one. And if IBM pays for your home computer and internet access, they have every right to read every one of the emails you send from home, and access your browser log.
