Racial prejudice etc goes under the table.


Racial profiling and racial prejudice are not the same but they are easily conflated. To inspect a person based on race is not the same as suspecting them of a crime. Threat assesment has different objectives from justice. The margin for error is much lower in threat assessment.

Of course race is too broad a criterea to use but what would replace it?
