With both production and exploration for natural gas dropping, would you include energy prices in your "will be lower" prediction? My own belief is that energy prices are such an incredible bargain in the U. S. that there is plenty of basic demand that even a deep recession will not much dampen. People may stop buying cars, but not gasoline. And we do like to keep our houses exactly at 70 F. all year long, if we can afford to.
