I think, like most states EVERYWHERE, they are demanding that state government cut spending MASSIVELY, and stop getting in their faces about expanding public "education" bureaucracies (i.e, greedy teachers' unions), pampering the "mentally ill" (i.e., not jailing the terminally-stoned), and state "services: (i.e., the black holes of state Medicaid, Medicare, and Welfare boondoggles). In other words: "Privatize or Die". Your few surviving liberal state politician/heros had better listen. Their days are short...
