i think it would be wonderful if we could get stuff from other CDMA operators' networks. may be that will come too. in fact, i think that's how the business model should have been designed. may be even qcom could keep all of the applications in a huge repository, and the user can see and can buy from the entire catalogue, but has to buy the app through his own service operator, thereby being forced to drop a 10% fee to them for their part in the scheme.
