jrhana,

Today I bought some NGT, CBD, BGO, and EWJ, but no BAY. The chart is looking interesting. It's fortunes have been linked to those of PAAS for a while now, but today PAAS was up 8.5% while BAY was down 9%. After the market close it was announced that the finalization of the merger would be delayed until Dec. 17th.

Is the disparity in price action related to this announcement? I currently don't own shares in either company. I had owned a huge amount of BAY that I bought between C$1.25 and 1.50 and after some trading finally sold it all around C$4.00 before the annnoucement of the merger. Without the merger, BAY would probably have topped at C$4.00 and retraced to C$2.00. You have piqued my curiosity. Does anyone out there know more about this situation?
