The Arabs with their "less sophisticated" means have already trumped the WWII Japanese and Germans as well as Russians, Chinese, etc.

How strange that we perceive the latter day, very much less sophisticated Arabs as more of a threat than the industrial might and scientific excellence of the German nation in WWII. They may not be sophisticated. BUT, with the help of megabucks, they most probably have bought much expertise and training from folks who really know how to do it. Remember, even Vincent Bull Canada's home-grown gun genius, designed such death-dealing weapons for Iraq that he had to be taken out (most probably by the Israelis). And German and other European engineers designed and constructed Saddam's bomb-proof underground bunker dwelling units and labs for manufacturing bio-weapons etc2.
