Steve, He seems to have escaped the death sentence. He had some real balls for deciding to not appeal the death sentence. I think he was hoping his execution, or its anticipation, would spark something. It just goes to show you the wide range of thinking in Iran's politics. Some that are, IMO, open minded, intelligent with a decent understanding of democracy. And of course the religion Nazis who want to murder anyone challenging their power. Part of me was hoping they would be stupid enough to go ahead with the execution, it could have really started something. Mani
