I didn't say that Colby did not make such a statement. I don't know or even really care if he did. The point is it's nonsense whether or not he said it. Sure the CIA can manipulate the press, mostly by leaking information it wants to get out and then occationally leaking something that isn't true that it wants people to think is true. But manipulate and control are two different things. Control is a stronger term that implies a lot more power over the press. Tim
