But a toorabout does not presuppose any of those things. If they actually HAD a good case for any of those things they could just have suspended him or kicked him off. You realize that, right? People have been kicked off for really harassing people. But of course simply posting to someone is not generally considered harassing. I think that was probably the problem.

You are incapable of viewing this rationally. I know your friends will support you, but to anyone else, not emotionally wrapped up in this, you just look nuts.

Laz --

Would you please find anything in the TOU that authorizes SI to limit one poster's right to post to another poster?

Keep looking.

Keep looking.

Oops. It's not there.

The illegal act in this matter, not that you care, was SI's breach of contract in thinking they could impose such a limit.

Of course, you probably think it's fine that companies break their contracts. You probably don't believe in a rule of law. But some of us do. And some day, you'll appreciate that there are people who, when their rights are violated, don't just take it lying down but stand up for their rights.

Or maybe you never will appreciate that. I don't know.

But if you ever do learn to appreciate that, you will be grateful for what I did.
