There is somebody who, in their profile, has the saying "the market can stay irrational a lot longer than you can stay liquid". I believe that the bears are going to get one last chance to have their hopes lifted that the naz is going down to 750 or whatever. The bulls will get disillusioned again on this drop and then the Naz is going to rocket up to 300-400 points and wipe out the remaining bears. And then the big drop happens that wipes out the bulls.... If you are a bear and you can hold on through that kind of gyration, then "yes" I think you have a workable strategy. Don't know too many bears or bulls that can hold on through that though.
