E said SOP for MEN, but why leave out the
women?

Because she's stuck in that limbo of ambivalence that so many radical feminists are stuck in. They want women to be treated equally when that's beneficial for women, but they want special treatment for women when they want it. I don't go for that. I'm for equal rights all the way. Yes, men or women can violate men or women. But never in an on line chat room, and even less so when one or more posters are posting by alias.

jla, to take just one example, has been posting stuff to me the past few months that, if I had posted those identical things to a woman, would have brought E screaming with outrage. But because they're posted by a man, she thinks they're fair game.

Really, it's an insult to women. An insult I choose not join in. Nothing she does, nothing Laz does, will make me deny the right of women to be treated with either the same kindness OR the same hostililty as men are treated. That's the meaning of equality.
