Augie i am sensing one factor pushing big traders to push and push up is they are playing "the news" there will be no Iraq war. So if it becomes official the market will have a brief blow-off top and then the sell-off because this is just gamblers playing a speculation before the news.
The severest case however is the market runs, inching up on gambling their will be no war, and war erupts; all hell will break loose then--PPT will be going 24/7 to hold a collapse from happening.
A market that is running up for zero fundamental rational, but for gambling only purposes only is a QuickSand rally.
But we have learned however the Great Casino remains tech stocks, it will take yet another bloodbath before the message hits home, the tech sector is history.
In 1950s tech accounted for 10% of GDP(counting what consumers spent on tech).
In the year 2000 it accounted for 50%, its growth regards GDP has hit the Big Wall. That is why tech, as a growth sector is finished except for specific niches,imo.Max
