CD-RW for data...it's re-recordable..as in you can change it when you like...similar to a cassette tape

CD-r...preferable for audio...one shot..when she's done she's done. No "re-write"

I have no idea why the 50 pk is cheaper than the 10..my guess is that the more expensive option allows for more storage..maybe 800meb vs 720meg...or you committed a TYPO<g> That's a great price on the 50pk btw..I pay about $30 for 100 verbatim CD-Rs at Sams
