I really think you're right about the stock market. I feel good about stuff here in Silicon Valley because at least some of my laid-off friends are finding jobs again.

I couldn't understand the chart though..could you explain what it means?

I have heard an alarming number of pundits on CNBC in the last week pronounce that "the worst is over". I think all the market is telling us is that a large number of institutions are betting that we're out of the woods.

It's starting to feel like there's going to be another major leg down. It wouldn't take much of a catalyst. Maybe an inflation scare? What if dollar plunges and the PPI and CPI appear to be take off?
