"HIS Party"
or
The Liberal Party

Mr. Chretien has announced his departure, and the high profile members of the Liberal Party are getting ready for that day. I assume that Mr. Chretien recognized the particular merits of Mr. Martin long ago as these two men have played a critical role in the Liberal Party for a very long time. I am not certain if I would use the word arrogant to describe Prime Minister Jean Chretien, his strength has always been his genuine concern over issues that he feels are important.

Infighting Liberals look much the same to Western Canadians, from thousands of kilometers away all Liberals look alike.
