Chinese now trust RenMinBi (Chinese Currency) a lot and it also getting accepted in quite a few Southeastern countries now. I would say in the next 50 years, RenMinBi may just preserve better value than US $. one will never know

Yes, it will likely hold its value better provided that the Chinese government ensures the RMB is adequately backed by gold and/or other considerations unlike what the US government has been doing ---- simply running the printed press for paper $ like there is no tomorrow.

Young Chinese are losing filial piety. This is the not the Confucian way. It may be they are drinking too much coca-cola and their heads are being turned by the mere trappings of western standards of wordly success. One must think long term, and if one does, the ephemeral and untrustworthy nature of man's best plans becomes apparent. For this reason, things become needed that will afford financial security in what might seem now as unthinkable circumstances.
