Bill, The collapse of the USSR gave Russia a lesson that
they could not refuse to accept as being what it would take
for Russia to be able to support a well oiled & greased military.
Its that saying "Its the economy stupid." and eventhought many
many years passed until Putin arrived with this lesson to put
into practice, its now the future of Russia.
(so)
"Kiss $500 gold goodbye if the Russians become
large producers of gold. Bill"
Will not happen simply because attached to the Russian goal
of world leadership includes a degradation of the United States,
and the quickest and easiest pathway for the United States to fall
is a collapse of it fiat US dollar that has no gold backing and has
no ability to back it with physical gold since the numbers on Bob's
web site that point to the numbers, are inverted as in rather than
have 95% reverses the United States has only 5% ownership.
So, as the United States falls down because it lacks a fiat currency
backed with a real value, the Russian government will allow this
falling down of the US to be hard & fast by keeping off the market
its supply of mined gold and let its price increase greatly as the
message from Russia will be that they value gold as what creates
a good & sound long lasting national money system that increases
over time the value of gold as it becomes more and more obvious
that nations without gold have untrustful fial currencies that over time
lose value and become bad money. Also, China knows these lessons.
Guess it time to review once again the pattern these past few years
of which nations have been buying up gold mines and land claims.
I'am not into this but heard lots of Africa's gold potential now has
as ownership nations NOT the United States. Bob's site should
make this an easy accounting task for both proven reserves
and maybe most important, unproven but potential future sites
that will supply the gold in the next years after another five or so
years pass that drain out existing mines.
(off) Hint & Clue that the kittyCat mine could be put into
FULL production by next week if ec was willing to absorbe
some investors that need to obtain a foreign ownership
like Russia or China or certain Middle East nations.
- ec remains as prez & ceo & chief engineer

I'm the one who keeps reporting Russia is going to be a larger gold producer.
The $500 number was in an article by someone else.
