True, if you consider skill dedicating your career to the absolute best propaganda machine around. The only problem: it's cynical. He doesn't believe 1/2 the crap he espouses. He's all about how masterfully to trick the audience, like his "deaf" episode. Actually, I find Limbaugh's commentary to be brutally honest. The truth is in the eye of the beholder; you seem to be skeptical even when skepticism isn't called for -- for example, your remarks about Limbaugh's 'deaf' episode. There really isn't any question as to Limbaugh's deafness. You just make this crap up to hear yourself think, or what? I listen to him on occasion, and marvel at how he can twist the facts, create innuendo, and even the occasional humor. Perhaps you could give some examples. While his show is loaded with excellent sarcasm, it is always easily discerned and could not be mistaken for assertions of fact. Meanwhile, he raises many, many excellent points that simply wouldn't be heard without his analysis. Limbaugh is, frankly, a brilliant conservative truthteller amongst a sea of liberal liars. It is, to me, a dead giveaway when someone criticizes Limbaugh in the way you have -- you either have to be blind to the quality of his skills, or just so idealogically opposed that you don't see his analysis worthy of consideration. Personally, I think Limbaugh is one of the great American entertainment personalities of the last 50 years. It doesn't hurt that he shoves the truth down liberals' throats on a daily basis...
