Hello Ild: Re.: Russian: Highland Gold and perhaps Armada Gold .....

Spent time last night searching same topic. Started due to BGO involved in some former Soviet areas.

Found articles on Chita (Siberia) gold mining area, town of Balei (or Baley?) (Lake Baikal region, Amur River region), Highland Gold (Khabarovsk region), and low and behold ARMADA GOLD (Derek Fisher and Robert Friedland plus John Hopkins). Article I read saw more size in the Armada Gold operation than perhaps the Highland gold operation.

Article by an environmental group that sent a foremost environmental expert to the area of Chita and the guy must be chasing Friedland all over the globe: article listed major tailings spills worldwide as- Balei (Siberia), Summitville (US), and Omai (Guyana). Seems like the Ruskies have been housing the residents in homes built with radioactive materials for years with tailings from mining activity, etc.

If Armada can get in, get started with re-opening the mines, get production underway and make agreements for clean-up, it would be OK to hold that one near-term maybe? Do not think I would like to be a longterm holder of it myself. Can you find out more about Armada and or Highland for us? Perhaps check on what BGO is doing, if not too much trouble? I do not have a clue for where to start looking at Armada information (Russian company?, UK?, Johannesburg?).

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Best Wishes;
Rails
