agreed, more pernicious when you consider financial hegemony we securitize our federal debt thus passing the risk to creditors we insist on Arab recycling of petrodollars which forces Arabs to share our economic risk next: Arabs boycott the USdollar, turning to gold they will fight the USA on our most vulnerable fronts DOLLAR, BONDS, AND CONSEQUENTLY STOCKS Trez market is 5x larger than Stock market we abuse our financial powers on them after OPEC quadrupled oil prices, we fuched them over with massive dollar inflation, thus reducing the value of our debts we vastly increased dollarized fiscal and monetary expansions they will retaliate on financial terms, plain & simple World Trade Center was a message to our US Financial world we errantly interpret it as a general attack on our soil I agree with you, George they can easily deal a heavy asymmetric blow to our financial markets next if they sell their bonds and buy gold if they are smart, they will hedge with massive Trez rate call options beforehand, and massive Trez Bond and Note futures option put contracts, together with plain TBond short futures contracts big big liquidity in these markets, esp futures and their options they can go net neutral if they are smart I dont know how smart they are some scarey economics pedigrees show up on the AlQaeda leader resumes / jim

The US will face a terrorist threat as long as it insists on its right to dominate the world All crimes proliferate when large parts of the population are willing to overlook it because they did not like the victim. We are rapidly reaching a situation where many people will not report terrorists even if they don't exactly support them.
