You're mixing apples and oranges. The automated equipment in NI is for making battery cells, not for assembling the N-Charge product.

The low-tech operations required to stuff the batteries into the N-Charge case, installing circuit boards and connectors and soldering the interconnecting wires etc is being done in Mexico.

The company has not announced any plans to produce battery cells in Mexico, that's being done in NI and later by the jv company in China. Simple enough.
