I hope you will appreciate this! :)Westi No matter how tough life may get, let us rejoice in the Lord for His everlasting love and mercy. The Bible declares in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 "In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." We are to thank God in every aspect of life, even if we have trials that we would rather not have. I believe praise andthanksgiving in the midst of our troubles is pleasing to God where He will take pleasure in meeting our every need because of our steadfast faith in Him. If you are sick in your body, I encourage you to life up your hands to the Lord and thank Him that your healing is on the way. If you are in need financially, praise and thank God right now in advance that He is going to supply all of your needs according to His riches and glory and you will be the head and not the tail. (Deuteronomy 28:13) Why should we thank God for something we cannot see? This is showing God our faith and complete trust in Him that He will meet every need that we may have. I encourage you to keep strong in the Lord and hold on to His promises. Jesus declares in Mark 11:24 "Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them." I encourage you to believe God heard your prayer and expect your answer is on the way. Jesus says to believe that you are going to receive the things you've asked for and by your faith; you shall have whatsoever you have asked. Stand strong on God's Word and believe your answer is coming. The Bible declares in Psalm 23:4 "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me…" We have to get our minds renewed and know that we will not suffer and live a troubled life, but by the power of Almighty God; we will walk through every trial and hardship that we may go through in life. Get it in your mind that you will walk through every trial and tribulation without fear but with thanksgiving because God is right there with you. Praise God. I encourage you to make time and seek God in prayer. Thank Him for everything that He has done for you and thank Him for the answer that is on the way. Have faith that your prayer is heard and know that God will reward your faithfulness as it is written in Hebrews 11:6 "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." In the midst of your problems, praise and thank God that He is on your side and you already have the victory through Christ Jesus our Lord. Read and meditate on these scriptures: Joshua 1:8-9 "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest." Philippians 4:4-7 "Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Psalm 34:1-4 "I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together. I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears." Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."
