dollar's near future is tied closely to fed stimulus traction
as Roach describes it, three areas will offer minimal and disappointing traction
- business capex
- consumer durables
- automobiles

there is no latent demand in waiting
Y2K exhausted capex
lower rates and REFI's exhausted consumer durables
Detroit zero finance incentives exhausted automobiles

now, we just wait for consumer spending to fall off the cliff
