An excellent idea, but Gerrymandering by the dominant Republi-crats, and exclusionary State regulations drawn up by same which serve to keep alternative parties off the ballot, make that unlikely.

By the way, Iowa may be the ONLY State in the Union without Gerrymandered election districts which are designed to protect Republi-crat incumbents.
