Clinton will wait until 2008 and Pelosi is not yet ready for prime time. I watched her with Russert yesterday and she looked like a deer caught in the headlights. Whoever wins the nomination will have to put a southern Democrat on the ticket. Looks for Edwards to be the VP candidate.

Actually Gore has moved quite a bit to the left. He is opposed to war with Iraq and he has come out for a federally administered single-payer health insurance program, a program far more aggressive than the Clinton proposal.
