Interesting chart… Since late ’98 until the top in 2000 a long COMPX short DOW position would be profitable. Consequently, since the market top, the ratio made 5 waves up, and indeed the opposite was true. This chart – unless wave 5 decides to extend – would call for a new reversal in their relative strength, with the COMPX destined to outperform.
