Embedded Systems Conference kicks off in Boston Nov. 18, 2002 Boston, MA -- (press release excerpt) -- The 10th annual Embedded Systems Conference (ESC) Boston is being be held this week in the Hynes Convention Center, Boston. On Tuesday, November 19, 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m., Nick Tredennick, industry pioneer and editor of Dynamic Silicon, will deliver the keynote address "Semiconductor Progress: Trends and Consequences." Mr. Tredennick, who also serves on the editorial advisory boards of IEEE Spectrum, Microprocessor and Microsystems, Embedded Developers Journal and Microprocessor Report, will discuss the impact of systems design on trends in semiconductors, including features, rising process development costs and the industry's move toward cooperation and consolidation.
