they thought they were making him look bad I think the whole idea of having two gushing news reporters was to idealize and idolize Bush, beginning with selling the "I don't have to explain myself to anybody" idea to the American people, even tho' it is directly contrary to the Constitution and the fundamental principles of our country's founding. It's important to find justification for him to never have an open news conference where embarassing questions might be asked. Already we have Cheney and Bush senior in that category.
