I made a statement of historical fact (or, perhaps, non-fact, but you have and had no idea which). You immediately called me a liar without any attempt to discern why I had said that. If I had said that Napoleon was manipulated into engaging into battle with Wellington would your initial response have been "you are a liar?" Well, with you, maybe. But not a normal person. They would have said "why did you say that?" You didn't. Now I realize you're backtracking, which is appropriate. But next time, please think before you throw out unfounded accusations.
