The Green Bay Packers have re-signed wide receiver J.J. Moses to the team's practice squad, GM/Head Coach Mike Sherman announced Wednesday.

To make room for him on the practice squad, CB/S Todd Franz was released.

The 5-6, 173-pound Moses, a former Iowa State athlete, previously had been a member of the Packers' practice squad in 2001 (from Sept. 26 until Oct. 2) after being placed on waivers by Kansas City. He had originally had signed with the Chiefs April 25, 2001.
