In "Journey with George", Junior looks like a life-of-the-party guy, a bit of a liar, but in a frat-party way. It's only serious professionally, when he gets to pass on life-death issues, and hasn't the ethics or morality to care whether the US goes into decades of war, if it benefits his family. Nor is he in any way in charge, as any unedited candid conversation shows. The decisions are made, and he is given a carefully written script of banal generalities, and not allowed to answer any uncontrolled questions. I don't even hate the soft and stupid populace who allows itself over the last 20 years to be fooled into trusting predatory government, which has evolved into an all-powerful central state. I hate the systematic deception and the thorough lies daily perverting the syntax of our media conversation. Emotional claptrap in the service of the oligopoly has taken over, and discussion of facts are of no consequence. The goal of civilization is freedom and prosperity, yet when faced with the temptation of enormous wealth and power, the leadership will spiral into a secret dictatorship without the least bit of hesitation. I won't cheer when the truth of 9/11 comes out, but I'll be relieved. I'll even be relieved if for some reason I'm wrong, global terrorism isn't being purposely encouraged, and somehow after the smoke clears some semblance of peace and rule of law appears, even if those who look like world-class criminals to me get away scott-free. Anything to get intelligence, honesty and full disclosure into the Washington henhouse. First that'll take getting the foxes out.
