There is no great goodness, there are only lives the are example of treating others like they wish to be treated.

Curious, you find no good in your friend. But you say he is good. What further proof can any one give that is more tangible than your knowledge of a friend. Have you told your friend how you feel about Islam? Would you ask your friend to show you it's goodness. I'd say clearly he is in a better position than I. I can only post links and tell of my experiences that show American Muslims to be just like other Americans. America has a culture where good seed can grow and bear fruit. The third world has cultures that are barren rock or thistles were goods plants wither and die or are choked off. A small Island of good land is Israel.

Within the lands of rock and thistle there are pustules of pestilence that calls itself Islam but is evil. These should be destroyed. These pustules of hate have appeared in the past using religions or ideologies to wreak hate and death. Failed Arab culture has created these pustules, not Islam. It may seem to some that the two are one. But I look to the example of a few American Muslims for the litmus of what is really Islam. Greatness is doing small good day in and day out. It goes unnoticed.
