I emphasized the fact they succeeded with their attack because some careless reporter suggested they achieved nothing by attacking innocent women and children.

The fact of the matter was that innocent women and children were not killed but that 12 Israeli armed forces were. Apparently the earlier report that women and children were killed was made to either create an outrage against the Palestinians OR to "hide" the embarrassing fact that Israeli defenses were successfully penetrated and 12 Israeli defense forces were killed.

In this particular instance, those Palestinians may be said to have been good and brave fighters. But, generally speaking, rightly or wrongly, Arabs are known for their sneakiness and treachery. So pervasive was this sort of thinking that some writer coined a phrase in the late 1800s, "Be anything but an Arab."

By the way, this was how an Arab spy murdered his Israeli Mossad counterpart. Prior to their pre-arranged meeting in a cafe, that sneaky Arab hid a pistol with a silencer in the water tank of a toilet. The Arab sat at a table facing the aisle way to the toilet so that when the Mossad guy showed up, the latter was motioned to sit facing him. During the meeting, the Arab removed his coat. Feigning discomfort, he emptied the contents of his pockets and he stood up and stretched a bit ---- all for the benefit of the Israeli fella! to show he was not armed.

Just before the end of the meeting, the sneaky Arab excused
himself to go to the washroom. When he emerged, he saw the Israeli guy's back was towards him and he pumped a few shots into him and left.

Of course, the Israelis had a few tricks up theri sleeves too. Remember how one elusive Palestinian bomb expert was killed in his office? The Israelis apparently bribed his landlord and managed to get into his office to rig an explosive device in his phone. One day the phone rang (of course you know who called) and he picked it up. As he said, "Hello" (in Arabic), the bomb blew off half his face and killed him outright. Wasn't that a smart counter sneaky act, eh?

Obvious conclusion? There are sneaky folks in the Middle East!!! and more so than elsewhere?????
