Over the years I've been through the following: '52 Gretch New Yorker; '56 Les Paul Jr.; '63 Gibson J-50; '65 Gibson B-25 12-string; 60's era Goya 12-string. Slings and arrows of misfortune saw them all go away over the years. Hey, I even once had ole' red, white and blue Buck Owens accoustic--lol! Right now I'm holding a '68 Guild and a newer model Epiphone 12-string. If this damn market ever gets better, I'll be looking anew for something old wooded to put new strings on--lol!
