I don't know how you people take that out there. I do my 30 mile commute through the country, sipping my coffee and enjoying the scenery without ever seeing more then 3 cars.

>>Personally, I'm in favor of limiting the times when
trucks can travel on the freeway and requiring special
inspections and/or licenses before you can enter the
freeway. There is no end to the stalled cars, or those
which can't exceed 45mph, on the road, which contribute
to accidents and overall problems<<

you know those trucks that have the bumper stickers that say "this vehicle pays $5XXX in taxes"....i've always felt that trucks should have their own lane and that it should be self funded.

totally agree with you on the diamond lane concept. the traffic flow in s. ca is so bad....they need every available lane utilized fully.

the really stupid thing about the toll road was that it was way too expensive....i think some of the 405 traffic would divert if the price were slashed to say....

50 cents?

lol...

(of course you'd still end up with a bottleneck as it empties back onto the 405....who the heck "plans" your roads anyway??<g>)
