burning wagons
Well, that makes perfect sense. If you were trying to cross Canada in the winter in a wagon, you'd HAVE to burn it to keep from freezing to death. For a short while.
Elementary.

However like (oh never mind)
Oh, come on. You can't get away with that. We are all adults here. There's frog legs. What else?

I saw a law suit stopped dead during an opening address to a jury where the lawyer for the plaintiff said "In Canada a deal is a deal". The defendant was from a foreign country and the judge allowed a mistrial. The lawyer was admonished for his characterization by way of an insinuation plus $11,000 in fines all at the discretion of the trial judge.
For what? Telling him he'd be held to his agreement? This is now a crime in Canada? How can this be?

Did marcos have anything to do with this?

I thought about posting that to marcos, but figured it was too good to waste on him. :-)

(Oh, yes, you might want to work a number of posts forward and back from that. Some pretty good quotes.)
