Noted that you are running version 1.3.1 of Sun Java. This was just recently discussed on this thread. First thing you should try is to upgrade to latest version of Sun Java, version 1.4.x

The 1.4 series seems to be much more stable for most folks.

Hi Swami, I had a number of problems running J2SE 1.3.1 and I would suggest upgrading to the latest commercial release J2SE 1.4.1_01
