JMO.....but I have always thought that Schrock was a little more optimistic about W-CDMA than IJ.

Before Schrock began speaking my broker filled me in on the TI presentation. He said that unlike last March, when TI never mentioned wCDMA, this time they had it on their chart of future opportunities.

I'm not sure which slide he was referring to....but the presentation is available on the TI website.

There was also a question about W-CDMA at the 35:00 minute mark of the presentation. Rich Templeton (COO) stated that W-CDMA is still early in many ways. They are involved with Nokia and Sony Ericsson from an "internal component" perspective....whatever that means. TI expects 2-3 competitors in the field.

Thanks for the notes from the conference....always good to get a firsthand view.
