Sure.. On the other hand, if you are a moderate and there are many of them, and if you do not agree with fundamentalists on any number of issues, you are not likely to go out there and make a big production of it since doing that could get you killed.. Don't forget more muslims have been killed in that place due to religious differences between Sunnis and Shias then Americans or Christians killed in the country.. Law and order for citizens is non existent.. You keep your nose clean and if you run into trouble, don't expect police or any one to do much about it.. Small and automatic arms are freely available since the days of Soviet/Afghanistan/American fiasco (which was never the case upto that point), all manners of foreign funds comes into to create trouble, from supporting religious factions and fundamentalism to your garden variety trouble making to huge increase in armed crime of home invasion to robbery to murder, so it is easy to make a judgement call from safe harbours..
