Cramer, You mean to tell me that media's actually worth something to someone besides the existing players? You mean to tell me that there is someone with money out there willing to buy something? I thought they were all dead, committed, broke, or about to go to jail! That's my takeaway from this news that Marvin Davis, after years on the sidelines, has resurfaced to try to buy Vivendi's (NYSE:V - News) media assets. I don't know Davis and I don't know the assets, but I know money, and all I can say is, glory be, someone is left out there to take advantage of the nondistressed properties that are owned by distressed backers.
