I don't think he will ignore them. Indeed I think, if he is not already doing it, he will seek ways to cut a path to them.

Dealing with this issue is going to be remarkably difficult. It will not be a cakewalk by any means. It will at times spin remarkably out of control. I hope Bush doesn't think we'll just waltz in take care of business and waltz out. The situation demands quite a commitment.
